The study includes Polish banknotes from the Kościuszko Insurrection to contemporary banknotes. All accompanied by many illustrations, thanks to which the typology of banknotes is shown.
The publication provides very detailed information on each banknote, such as its dimensions, colors, watermarks, designer, and applied signatures.
Also described are banknotes that did not enter circulation, PKO vouchers, banknotes of the Free City of Gdansk, the Lodz Ghetto and the German occupation authorities for the eastern territories.
